The first base position in the New York Mets team, has been in question for the team´s managers. There were two candidates to cover that important position who can make the expected work for the team. Observers have said that the big first baseman has been more aggressive at the plate. His swing is more elevate in the end, and that's mean, he is trying to take the ball higher and get homers. In 2013 his power at the contact looked poor and without concentrate at the moment of his turn on plate. He just could get 15 homers in that season. .
The most remarkable batting category was the RBI (Run Batted in) numbers. Until 2014 most runs he battled in was 53, and he brings home 92 in 2014 again a remarkable improvement. Lucas Duda has been getting better results, when he make contact at the first pitch in each one turn at plate.
